We have started a gift wrapping service here at The Garnet Stores & Supplies. All you have to do is select a gift wrap paper and we will beautify your purchase for you whilst you wait!

We have a selection of hand crafted gift wrap here in store. This week we are highlighting papers by Paper Mirchi.

Paper making is an ancient skill in India. Cotton rags and textile scraps are chopped, pulped and dyed and spread over a  mesh screen. The cellulose rich fibres then bind together to form the paper. Excess water is squeezed out and each sheet is hung out to dry. The sheets are then pressed in a calendering machine to smooth out the creases.’

We stock a variety of these papers including hand tie-dyed, wood block printed & marbled. You can also add a mini bunch of dried flowers curated by us in store to add an extra special touch.

Our gift wrapping service is £3 including the paper. You can add flowers for £5.

The service will be free of charge for any online orders, simply add the service before checkout and we will take care of the rest!
