Oysters and art with Kate Elgood and City Fish!

You can’t get more local than artist Kate Elgood who collects the empty oyster shells she uses to hand-paint her stunning creations from directly in front of The Garnet Stores at City Fish.

All cleaned, sterilised, sealed, made by hand, copper paint edged, gloss varnished and then drilled and hung with organic natural twine. A little bit of the coast for Christmas!

And so with this nod to Kate, our community and our incredible coastline we will be celebrating this with our latest window at The Stores and aiming to collect Kate a few more empties by offering £5 off any bottle of wine at The Pub to have in when you bring over your oysters from City Fish throughout the festive season!
