This is a wine that is so much about texture and mouthfeel. A blend of tutti-frutti Vermentino and floral, grippy Clairette, it has a sumptuous gently oily/creamy mouthfeel, with peach, citrus and wild flowers proliferating. Bold and fulsome it still retains balance and a lovely bitterness on the finish to match up with everything from meaty fish to new season partridge.
